Day 187

PHP client library released

I'm proud to announce the release of the first client library developed after launching the service a few months ago.

Photon + PHP client library
Photon + PHP client library

The list opens with the PHP library, compatible with the PSR-2 and PSR-4 standards.

In addition, the library is available at Packagist, so its installation using Composer is so simple:

composer require photonsh/photon-php

The usage of the library is also a simple task. Here is an example extracted from the documentation:

require_once __DIR__.'/vendor/autoload.php';

use Photonsh\PhotonPhp;

$photon = new PhotonPhp\Photon();

$photon->setup(['apiKey' => 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx']);

echo $photon->highlight('<pre><code class="language-php">echo \'example\';</code></pre>');

We hope that the library meets the expectations of PHP developers.

The PHP, Node.js and JavaScript client libraries will not be the only ones available, we have plans to develop client libraries for several programming languages and platforms such as Python, Go, Wordpress or Jekyll. Since our client libraries are released under a MIT open source license, you can help us and start the project already!

Here is a small list of useful links related to the PHP library:
